BAKIBAKI & FLOZ

Within both sequence hotels mentioned, I was involved in the art direction. My role throughout this project was to reach out to artists and plan the project. On the board for art selection and layout design and to be there to help the artist in any way but to also manage every decision to make sure it stayed within the project directions.

In Sequence Kyoto Gojo, a renowned Kansai artist called Bakibaki worked on three pieces alongside Kenta Kousaka and 中LA. As well as working alongside Y&L projects and french artist Floz, we created a digital art displayed on each floor.

Roles: Managing the contacts, choice of artists, artists during installation, and on-site during installation.
